How do you use your Garmin watch and Connect software to track your strength training workouts?

I like Garmin hardware and software, but it was clearly designed by runners and cyclists, just to track those activities. Triathletes piggy backed swimming too, and here is my beef:

Strength training, no matter the intensity, duration, reps, sets, registres as low aerobic, and usually non-existent anaerobic training. Doesn't Garmin have an exercise physiologist to explain to them that strength training uses mostly anaerobic energy? Furthermore, inputing weight /resistance is tedious and time consuming.

Is there a work around to measure those workouts correctly? (I'm sure Garmin has their own forums, I just don't want to go on another platform to sift through millions of unrelated responses)

My Garmin measures anaerobic effect just fine. If you are getting the low aerobic effect, it means your heart rate is not getting high enough between sets. I have workouts created on the phone or online in Garmin Connect, weight set in the workout. During the "rest" time I just confirm the weight and adjust the reps if it doesn't auto detect. I'll rotate the workouts and just measure the total weight to measure progression.
