Used compatibility

Hey @Decked

I found a used system from a Chevy Colorado short bed on Craigslist. He has it listed as 5’2”. Any chance his set up will work in my DCSB with a 5’ bed? I don’t imagine these are specific to each manufacturer are they?

If anyone has the answer it would be greatly appreciate. The guy lives about 5 hours north of me and I would hate to drive up there and find out it doesn’t work.

Hey M,

Our systems are made specifically for each make/model so unfortunately that system for the Colorado will not work with your Tacoma. We cut the side of each system to perfectly match with the sidewall of each truck bed which is why these are all slightly different.

What about a decked system from a Jeep Gladiator? Specs seem to be very close.

 

Hi there! I just wanted to let you know it does fit in a Toyota Tacoma. I have a 2016 short bed and I bought a used jeep gladiator decked system and it fits damn near perfect. Only difference is the bolting system. You’ll have to strap it down differently but it doesn’t move even when I’m off roading. So I personally don’t strap mine down. Hope this helps!!
