    Hi,

I am looking to buy a 2011 Tacoma and have been checking out this video of the truck. The truck seems to be in great shape and the frame looks good to me, but I am definitely no expert and would like some opinions on the condition of the frame. 2 sections stood out to me, but don't know if they are issues or not. Just trying to not make a mistake.

Frame looks to be in really great shape to me, I would get it if the price was right!

That’s a great find, looks well taken care of and the frame looks super

Does it have any maintenance records? Always a good idea to ask - and unless you have details about history it would be a good idea to baseline the fluids if/when you pull the trigger and get her home.

Awesome, thanks so much. Don’t really know what to be looking for frame wise, but it looked good to me, just wanted some opinions from people more knowledgeable. Maintenance wise, it’s seems to have had standard services, but don’t think it has had transfer case/diff oil changed. Truck has 80k miles. Replace that when I get it?

That's a good looking truck and low miles. Not sure it's worth $17K though.

15k would be top dollar IMO

Impressed you found the price, I was wondering!

No way, 17 grand plus tax and probably a dealer fee and tags if you need them. You’re already up to 20 g’s before you know it. Brand new it wasn’t far from that price. 15 g’s max or tell them to pound sand.

But if he specifically wants a reg cab, the options are limited and it's worth it to grab a clean truck with lower mileage since they don't make them anymore.

The truck definitely looks pretty clean and fairly low mileage but the price is a little high. I know it’s hard to find a clean RC and they can come at a premium.

Just an FYI I picked up my RC 11 4x4 5speed two years ago it had 33,000 on it and the dealer was asking about 17k I was able to get it down to about 14k out the door.

Price is alittle high, but in this market it may be closer to the norm. My 2013 regular cab 4x4 with 75k was around 13k, from a broker. That was a few years ago, pre covid

My 2013 70K mi., RC, auto., with lift & 20" wheels & tires, I'm pretty sure I wrote the check for 14K total with tax, lic., etc. included, 2 1/2 yrs ago. That Taco looks very nice & Xtra low mi for a 10 yr. old Taco. But the price, ?????..... And I love RC's

Prices have gone up a bit due to covid. I just did a search in my area and there are at least 4 or 5 RC 4x4 trucks in the $16,500 to $22K range with less than 95K miles. There are several with over 120K miles and in the $14-16K range. So that price above is not really out of line with the current market.
