I love Raptor liner. I've coated sliders, bumpers, an actual pick-up bed (lol) and even a pop-up camper and its roof in the tintable version.

But...for a frame...hmmm. One thing I like about paint is that if an area actually is rusting, a painted finish shows it readily and you can go back with a wire wheel and correct it. Not sure you'd be able to tell until it was too late under a thick layer of Raptor. And the prep to get your frame clean enough so the Raptor sticks/seals/encapsulates would be insanely hard.

Keep us posted here on what you decided to do, though.

That would be a terrible idea. The prep and application would be extremely difficult to achieve successfully. It has no anti rust properties and any rust forming from areas that's chipped or inaccessible would be difficult to repair. You will also run into issues with having to drill or weld if you decide to add mods that attach to the frame.

I raptor lined the interior tub of my Jeep and I loved it for that...I think using it on a frame is a bad idea. They say the best products for frame protection ‘breathe.’ I think the raptor liner would be too sealed so any rust or moisture in the metal would continue its evil underneath the bedliner

If you google it, or search on TW, there's a thread on it with some pictures from other members. One guy did it and it looks the same after 3 years

Raptor is great for many things, but it would be a nightmare to apply to a frame, and would not do the best job of protecting the frame. A far better product is HydroArmor. It is very easy to work with, and cleans up with water until it cures. It does not have a thick sticky buildup. It will stick to almost anything. It claims to even stick to oily metal, but I would avoid it if possible. The point is, once a truck leaves the lot it's very hard to have a perfectly clean frame. This suff doesn't care. One cool feature is that it goes on blue, and turns black as it dries. That makes follow up coats really easy. You can see exactly where you have been. Really great product. You do have to address any rust before any such product can be applied though.
