Upgrades you DON'T regret

Okay, my other thread on upgrades you regret has been crushing, and it's been super fun to learn about what's not worth the cash.

But what about upgrades you absolutely DON'T regret? The gear you agonized over buying, and when you finally did, it was totally worth it?

I was hesitant to get Eibach suspension because it's not as flashy and cool as stuff like King or Fox. But it's been super solid, and I didn't have to take out a second mortgage for it.

 

There’s many things I did to my truck that I don’t regret at all, but the one mod that I like the best is my Gram Lights 57DR-X wheels.

Not many people running them on a Tacoma and they look great!

 

Adding the header rail on the bed. It wasnt too expensive, it was easy to install, and it's super useful for the things I carry in the bed. Two of my cleats live on that rail.

 

Definitely glad I upgraded from OEM Halogen/LED headlights to FULL OEM LED headlights.

I cried once.

Should have paid $489 to have installed before I took possession...live and learn.

 

This is definitely on my list!

 

For me, it is the Overland OTT Tune and the Curt Mfg front receiver.
The Dee Zee bed liner also gets the nod.

 

What were the noticeable benefits to the Overland OTT tune? I've been really curious about these...

My $12 dollar glove box divider. I rarely see it or think about it, but it's comforting to know that its in there quietly doing its job!

 

Accumulator Delete Mod using Fern's disc for us El Manuels!

 

For you or anyone else looking, the end caps are part number 66134-04010. They're not necessary but it looks more complete with them present.

 

It really should've been. It looks like they added them back to the 4th gens. Not sure why it was left off of the 3rd.

 

Whoa! I didn't know about this mod! I have a manual transmission and this would be killer!

Adding this to the list.

 

TUNE, Morimoto headlights and fog lights and custom grill would be my top 3. I've also replace exhaust, intake, tail lights, Morimoto 3rd brake light with F1 flasher, lift, rims and tires.
