upgrade windshield wiper switch for a 2017

I read an old post about this same problem but want to see if it still applies to the 2017 Tacoma:
I have the base model with only 2 wiper speeds, the dealer says that there isn't an upgrade but the old post said use a different model when searching the part (sttoyotaparts.com). There is an variable interment option for the TRD but will that switch work on mine?

Part number in the link and instructions. Ebay or Amazon should have it. Probably quite a few auto online stores.
