The Map & Trackers are now available in v1.0! It has been a long process checking, rechecking, and collecting the correct info. All info is fact based, no opinions, collected from two Toyota manuals. Part numbers and Torque Specs are straight from someone very high up with access to "the system". I hope you all enjoy these. If you don't know me, I run "Team Oil Drop". I will have all of us full, concise, complete videos on each of these DIYs in the not-so-distant future. Thank you, Tyler.

Good morning/evening fellow maintainers. Here is BETA version 0.1 of the 4th gen maintenance map I will be sharing here. Do NOT use this on your 4th gens until it reaches Version 1.0. This is merely a placeholder to get my thoughts together and receive your feedback and recommendations as we progress together. Thanks everyone - Tyler

People with 4th gen's are smart enough not to post here. Except me, but I'm retarded.

I’m waiting for the “hey, the 4th gen doesn’t have drum brakes!” comment

According to TW posters, drum brakes were "better" for the Tacoma anyway. I've seen it posted twice already.

Quick observation/suggestion, do front and rear diffs need separated or just use a singular icon for diffs?

Facts! I expect v1.0 to look quite different. I hope to have v1.0 asap... but only when I am 100% confident everything is correct.

great question. Main reason I separated for 3rd gens is different torque specs and 2wd models.

I posted the maintenance guide from Toyota if you need it unless you have it.

What’s the definition of severe? Heavy towing? Hot environs like Arizona?

Severe is when a BirdBrain is driving it.

Lol. Not really anymore. I do tend to mash the gas pedal pretty good but I no longer routinely tow 3500+ pounds.

Which is worse on an engine, the colds of Canada or the extreme heat in Arizona?

Just looking for the definition of severe.

I would not be surprised. Turbo 4s on most vehicles will have a more frequent oil change interval than their NA conterparts.

They used to list severe as like consistent towing, dusty environments, daily work truck. Dunno if they list those examples anymore.
