2ACD9B2B-7B9A-49C3-9602-D518A24307A6.jpg So first off for all of the don’t put led’s in reflective housing haters, I’m not blinding anyone. I’ve properly adjusted my headlights down enough that I have not once been high beamed. Getting to the problem, my beam pattern width is not symmetrical as pictured. The bulbs are lasfit H4 9003 https://www.lasfit.com/products/h4-...-led-tail-lights~dz_low-high-forward-lighting

    What I’ve done so far:
-Messed with the horizontal adjustment screw, doesn’t seem to make any difference. I went lock to lock and nothing changed.
-swapped my driver side bulb with the passenger side, no difference.
-twisted the bulb in the hold down device or clip, no difference in width.
Not really sure what else I can do. If anyone has any info or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

The bulbs are the problem and are they OEM headlight units?

Yes they are factory headlight assemblies. Is there a different bulb you would recommend, something brighter than factory?

It's the housings,. Not designed for LEDs. As you've found out.

Go back to the 'clever' thread. You'll find at least 3 combinations you can build with as your budget allows

Note how there is the light above the hot spot “cut off”. That is glare that is blinding to other drivers. Lasfit makes terrible LED products, definitely not recommended. But to answer your question, you have the bulbs positioned correctly as easily indicated by your pattern. The issue is the bulbs.

I’d suggest the Philips Racing Visions for best plug and play low beam which will offer a good increase in performance over stock and be substantially better than those LEDs.

Tungsram Platinums will offer better high beam, but the low beam will not be as good as Racing Visions.

I went back and read through, and I’m not interested in installing a harness and pulling the whole front clip apart. I do think I will try the Phillips racing vision bulbs instead of the leds.

I saw these bulbs recommended in the ultimate headlight upgrade thread also. I think these are some halogens I can get with. I plan to try these out, thanks!

Yes, I will admit I didn’t fully comprehend all of the instructions at first. After going back I realized there were some options other than installing a heavier duty harness. Also, I did not realize crashburn80 was the author of the post, very nice of him to chime in, thank you.
