Undercover tonneau pop up tent build

I would rather use snaps like a boat cover but I don't have the clearance for them where I want the canvas to attach. I'm hoping a good 3M velcro will be pretty strong.

 

If you aren't planning on driving with it up, I would think the velcro would hold just fine.

 

Got most of the bed stuff done! Going to add a few things like a slide-out table from under the bed but that will have to wait till next weekend.

Well, I ended up Taking the elevated bed out and putting in another shelf same as the left side so I can sleep in the middle with lots of headroom.

The middle part I sleep on will slide out to double as a table during the day or a leaf to turn the bed into a full elevated bed for 2 people.

Also I'm going to make a small table piece big enough to eat on so I can have breakfast in bed if i want to

I will grab some pictures tomorrow when I'm done so everything I just said makes sense.

 

Finished most of it, Just need to add some small stuff and build the mini table.

Would love to see an update with detailed picks of the front hinge mount /mods and the wratcheting lifts. This is exactly what I want to do except drivable.

 

Been looking at doing something like this. I love mycover, but it's so inconvenient when I need to move anything.
