Seems like there's a few of us running around with these setups now. I don't know that I was the first but I think I may have been the first documented build. I've been getting a LOT of PM's from other people doing this exact same thing and I'm stoked that so many other people have taken the plunge!

Post 'em if you got em! Build threads and pictures!!!

There's some other pictures later in that build thread that show it. But realistically it's the same exact thing just a different top plate. I just make different plate every time.

damn your setup is SICK, sometimes i really wish i bought a double cab. this is all i could do for now with the newer access cab style rear seats. guess this might qualify me for the ussc haha, but does not compare to your setup. someday i want to completely remove the rear seat frame and rear center console and hopefully be able to squeze two 10's in there

I wanted to do the under the seat subs in my DC but my fiberglass skills are horrible. Looks sick and talk about a great way to use up worthless space.

How much airspace is.under there total? Im thinking of doing two ported 8s or one beefy ten ported......you now have two tens sealed under there right? How does it sound? Im used to a lot of bass so id like to be in the high 140s with whatever i go with ive got an audiopipe 3000D so i have plenty of power :D

There's about 1 cube down there maybe a little less. The other member who recently did two tens down there had to modify the rest of the steel down there a bit by pounding it out I think. He really didn't elaborate much. Ported 8's will be tough considering you'll have to have one on each side and that doesn't leave too much room for the ports. A ported 10 would be easier from that standpoint but you'll have to pound out the steel like stated above.

Not sure what the video will really help you judge on the sound (after all it plays through your computer)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6WYWqy15-c&list=UUeZnU8w01K4dp-DUoRMQCKA&index=8&feature=plcp

That area was not modified. Looks exactly the same.
Check the thread I posted in the first post; it's a build log.
Every version is exactly the same underpinnings. I just cut a new baffle board/top for different subs.

This could be a possible solution to what I want for audio system in my DC. I fold the seats down quite a bit and have the dogs in the back of the cab all the time. I was hesitant to do a box behind the seats with them jumping back there after being in the lake or for a long road trip.

Italyn, where in Dallas are you located? I'm near downtown/Baylor/Deep Ellum.

Cool, I may have to buy you a beer sometime and get some advice on how to do the audio in the truck... I'm clueless when it comes to these things
