Under seat storage, latches??

    Hey, noticed on both sides storage covers under the seat, it show a symbol for open direction, but I don't think I've been able to latch either side successfully, anyone care to explain? I made sure the cover can go flat, and I see it's just a metal rotating hook latch with a groove, wo Der what's going on...maybe I'm actually pressing down too much amd the slot is above...thanks. typing from garage

    ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
    Those latches are garbage. I've been looking for a solution myself but have not found one yet.

    Thanks, figured with the seat down it won't rattle hopefully. I'm surprised I actually haven't been able to secure them at all lol

    The knob rotates that little metal tab on the back of the lid. The tab often gets bent up and no longer goes underneath the lip when rotated into the "locked" position. You may just need to gently bend the tabs away from the lid until they can clear the way they're supposed to. Do it a little bit at a time and check the fit between gentle bends.
