I think I have a wheel bearing on the way out on the passenger side, Because I get a slight hum, but when I turn right it goes away. But its only at speeds over 60 I notice it.. With that said, what is the typical life span of the bearings? I just rolled over 80k on my 2011.

My driver side went at around 70ish thousand....my passenger side is still going strong....I have a spare assembly on standby in my tool box for the day it goes bad.

Many many factors, but I usually see it around 150,000kms.

Way sooner, almost every 50k with severe offroading.

Water, rust, oversized tires, load, all kill a bearing sooner.

My passenger side went bad at 125k miles driver side still going. I have a slight hum also. Factory suspension, no lift, OEM size tires, very-very little offroad.

Rear passenger went out 70k. I prophylactically changed the front ones around the same time.

I'm at 190,000 and 11 years on the ones that came from the factory. Oversize tires, especially combined with lots of wheel offset or wheel spacers put a lot more strain on them.

I think a lot has to do with environmental conditions and or winter de-icer...seems like some dont last past 80K..

Front left went at 60k-ish along with the needle bearing. Stock spec drivetrain wise with gentle dirt use. Ready for the pax side to to go, hoping it is in the next 30k miles before my warranty kicks.

I guess its getting replaced tomorrow. Hope that's it anyway, im worried to drive too far, I drive 16 miles in the morning, and 16 home that evening typically.. I have a longer trip this weekend, and don't want it to grenade on me.

Mine are all 200,000+ and I guess they are fine? Might have them checked soon.

Is it possible to open them, clean them and repack them with grease? That was something we used to do back in automotive tech but I remember them saying that it's only possible on certain vehicles.
