    Hi all-

It sounds like there are between 3 and 8 zerk fittings along the drive shaft, depending on the individual year/model of Taco. I've picked up a grease gun and two tubes of grease: 1.) Moly-graph and 2.) General purpose Lithium grease. Both by Sta-lube (Harbor Freight).

Curious if it really matters which grease I use, and where.

And if anyone happens to know exactly how many zerks I should be finding on an '06 DCLB 4x4 TRD sport (auto), I'd love to know :)

Theres 5 IIRC. 3 on the rear and 2 front. You can't miss them. Most people recommend Moly. Some go against it. I used valvoline syn grease.

So are there any other spots on the Taco ('06) that have grease fittings? Was hoping to find something in the suspension...I have a nasty annoying squeak that I've noticed recently (after hauling a bunch of dirt/bark).

That was fun. Just difficult enough to warrant a few choice words and 2 beers.

Went through 90% of one tube...probably could have used less, but I figured more is better than less. The 4th (from the back) was the toughest, by far. Was some kind of shield that made things tough to manuever.

    Thanks for the help.

No moly in roller bearing applications!
