I’m sure this has been covered already, but I added two USB ports in my center console under the arm rest where a 12V originally was. Install took 5 minutes and was plug and play.

Not the best picture but you get the idea. These ports charge faster than the audio input one and the wireless charger.

There’s already a cut out to run a cord out with the lid closed, so works perfectly. Plus, I didn’t have to cut a hole in anything as it was already there.

Ah, google translate Chinese->English never works out so well ;). Cracks me up reading some of those product descriptions (and bogus reviews) on Amazon. That said I like this one and I am buying

.....Ha I just noticed that theres one in there!!
That looks like it'l just charge and not play any audio?
I'd definitely like to do this and like the look of the second one but it probably charges half as much as the blue sea (2x the amperage).

I was looking to leave an old iPod in the console since it can hold more music than my phone....and the corded music connection sounds better than BT.

The one that plays audio is below my HVAC controls. The blue sea one definitely charges really fast. Im sure you could run the input from below the HVAC into the center console if you wanted audio capability

Yeah that's what I'm trying to figure out...I guess the best thing to do would be to look at the one in the dash and see if I can solder wires to it. But I think might need an actual use hub to work.
