just as the title states, I want to turn my matte grey/black flares and front bumper to color match the truck. Is this possible by just getting it done professionally or will it still not match exactly. Or is it easier to just buy new ones. OR is it so easy that I can just rattle can it with some really glossy black.

Get it professionally done. They put flex additive and adhesion promoter in the paint to make it stick to flexible plastic parts. All of our trucks started with the basic black plastic. A good body shop man will also account for any weathering in your current paint and match any sun fade so that you shouldn't be able to tell.

I'd expect around $500-$600 for bumper and flares to be done, they will have to take them all off to spray correctly, and the flare gaskets will need to be replaced as these are a one use only deal.
