After I wear these out, I’ll probably go to the 34” version of the tires. I’m good for a while now.

No Poke! I was beginning to think I was the only one who likes wheels/tires to be flush with the fenders.

 

I did the poke thing on the previous gen. But I really like the way this turned out.

 

Agreed. With the rear fender flare issue I'm on the no-poke train as well. I also like the no-poke look...cleaner looking to my eye.

Where did you pick up the Tundra BBS wheels? What versions of Tundra have wheels that are a one to one swap with the 4th gen Tacoma? Lastly, are those tires 265/70's?

I believe Tundra 2022+ models have the same wheel specs as the 2024+ Tacoma.

The tires are 265/70/18.

Love the design of those wheels! It's almost enough to get me to reconsider my opinion of black wheels. Were these ever offered in another finish, like silver?

Yes, I’ve seen aftermarket wheels in silver or bronze. AGP makes them in 17 and 18”. I am not sure if the center bore is 95 or 106. Nor am I sure if they use Toyota lugs or splines.

I have never been a black wheel fan either. However, they match up well on the silver Off-road. I considered the Tacoma Pro wheels but I like these instead.

 

Are these hard to clean like the matte black rims on the TRD pro 4runner (prior to 2025)?

 

Some of the indentions will need some hand detailing but the wheels seem to clean pretty easily. I’ll know more in a couple of weeks.

 

Did they have those in stock or did you have to let them know you wanted them and then have to wait? I've tried to look them up online but can't find a link, other than the FB Marketplace link you have where they seem to post what they have in stock...

 

The black does look good with silver. I like the Pro wheels in Silver I've only seen them on the track dryer Tundras and the 2024 SEMA Xtra Cab hybrid concept.
