    Hey all,

Just moved to Tucson a few months ago and looking to get my truck lifted/leveled 3 inches or so. I don't have a lot of free time and park in a parking garage so doing it myself is kinda out of the question. I did a search and all the threads were 3+ years old. Anyone have any recent experience with a shop in town?

    Thanks,
    Justin

Welcome to Tucson! Do you know what lift you want? Or do you want to buy everything from one shop and have them install too?

Also, I know for sure to NOT go to Trail Boss Off-Road on Ina/Thornydale for anything. They tried to sell me a $3600 spindle lift and ignored everything I said I wanted (height, price. Etc) and proceeded to tell me that there are no other options for lifting tacomas other than his kit. The guy was a total ass and is only out to take your money.

I'm not picky so long as I get 2-3 inches, it's level, and doesn't ride terrible. I'm thinking just buy through whatever shop I go with to try to keep the total cost down.

How much you looking to spend? I'm working with ADS suspension right now to get my new suspension put on this week as is another guy on here. They have top notch stuff and it's among the best you can buy. PM me and I can give you some more details.

Not too much more above that, but I replied to your PM. Another place to check out is desert rat off-road.

Front 2.5" ADS IFP coilovers, rear 2.125" shocks, a Deaver multileaf progressive AAL pack, LR UCAs and everything was installed by them as well. The more I think about it, I kind of wish I would have installed it myself with some Tucson people's help just to gain experience with the suspension stuff.

I did a thread about everything here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/341630-ads-racing-shocks-suspension-pic-heavy.html

I have had a decent experience with desert rat on 22nd and Kolb. Prices seem to be a little high but did not have an installation issue.

    Some stuff here and there....
Personally I would buy off here on group buys or the discounts you can get. 2k would be a nice set up. And wait for a mod day to do it. Otherwise like the others said desert rat would probably be your best bet unless you want to drive to phx. Sdhq and sierra expiditions will do it aswell. Sdhq has a tw discount and you can buy everything from them aswell
