TSS Sensor Garnish

I have a 2023 Tacoma sr 2x4. I’m looking to replace the grille with a newer one and it is asking if I need the TSS Sensor Garnish. But I don’t know if I have it since I can’t see anything when looking at my grille. Does the sr come with it?

 

Yes you have it. All 2018+ models have TSS, its behind your Toyota emblem.

 

Is their wiring run to the backside of the grille. Pictures would help. I’ve never seen the back side of the 23. However I’ve seen the back of my off road 22 grille. My wiring harness runs to my TSS and camera. If that helps.

 

What grille are you looking at? If it’s the Pro grille with the TOYOTA lettering you will need the garnish

Did you actually look at the options? It tells you that if you have a 2018+ you will need it.

Will the pro grill fit on the 2023 4x4 access 6A TRD? I want to replace the stock grill with the one that is on the Pro ... thanks!!

 

It should unless they changed something in 2023. It fit on my 2020 just fine

Is the install hard or should I get someone else to do it? I'm 'ok-ish' with installation stuff .. lol!

 

I'm probably one of the most mechanically impaired people there is and I tackled my pro grille install without issues. There are some good how-to videos on YouTube. Took me about an hour going slow. Someone with experience could do it a lot faster.

 

It’s a couple of screws and a bunch of clips that you have to un clip which can be a bit frustrating but there is not much to it. There is a couple of YouTube videos . You could do it

 

I was just looking into stuff like warning if you have cameras in the front it needs to be custom mounted on the grill.. I'm also wondering about the DRCC .. but inreally want this darn grill it makes the truck look soooo much better .. meaner ...
