That may be one part. I just had mine replaced under warranty. Paperwork shows 861C0-04010 Cradle Assy.

Off topic but someone needs to make an aftermarket one that’s worth a damn. Factory one sucks. The Samsung ones work really good and don’t get hot. Stock gets hot and doesn’t work well:rofl:

Keep searching as I know there is a post/video somewhere because I have done it. If memory serves you have to remove the 2 bolts in the center console to start, then the middle pieces around the parking brake will come apart and up. There may have been 2 screws around the wireless charger.

Thank you all. I wasn't removing the 2 bolts in the center console. Thank @muffyinva

I was able to take the out the charger, remove the 6-8 small screws holding the base pad in and tape it back down with some 3M tape. We will see how long it lasts in the Texas heat. I may have to glue it back down. The thing is I don't even use the Qi charger

Yeah I didn’t use mine either. I think the heat made it bubble up.

Someone with a 3D printer should make a replacement piece. I gave my switch away to a member here because I never used the charger pad.

I saw your TSB post, thank you for posting that. I am way over warranty so I am not about to shell out $750 for the new part. I saw one guy just pulled it out and glued it, I just cant find a write up that shows the removal of the cubby I can find plenty for the center console up to the qi charger, unless I am just missing it.

    You're welcome!

The TSB has all of those details. It is attached to the quote post.

So after extensive research I figured out it’s actually easy to fix guys. You gotta remove the center shifter trim and arm rest. After you do that it all slides out including the Qi charger you have to disconnect like two connectors one by the transmission which connects to the trim and another to the Qi charger once you get the Qi charger out take off the actual mother board and metal pad. What I didn’t know was that the rubber actually was glued to the actual metal charging platform. So the fix for me was to apply a lot of rubber cement and than screw it back together and put something heavy on top to let it dry. After there is no bubble at all it’s completely flat like brand new. Fixed my problem and still charges totally normal. Hope this helps. It’s really easy to glue because the metal part is all water proof adding glue won’t interfere with anything.

The truck I test drove just kept toggling between charging and not charging and was really annoying. There is a case on my phone but it's not like the thing is 1/4" thick or something crazy. Must just be a super weak charger?

I’d love for someone to figure out how to replace it with a magsafe charger.
