Honestly I want an aggressive looking tire that drives mostly on the highway w occasional off roading, mostly mild. I’ve done ridge grapps a few times in the past on an older truck… they seemed pretty quiet and comfortable but I may want to change it up. Unless the Bajas will be noisier and not as highway complaint?

I also like the look of the good year duratracs but I’ve heard mixed reviews on them as well.

    Enough for now
the Mickey thompsons are a little loud and heavy but look AGGRESSIVE and perform great in all conditions in my experience

    Hey Ben,
The Baja Boss AT look amazing in my opinion. I have the Boss MT on my truck and my brother put the AT on his. It's hard to walk away from tires you've had good luck with in the past like the grapplers. We ran the Duratracs for years and I loved them. Side walls are the weak point on them but that's the only complaint I have from the 10years I've ran them. With that said, my brother was told by discount tire that they were discontinued and replaced with a new RT from goodyear. That's why he went with the Baja Boss AT. So far he likes them but yes, they are heavier for an at tire. Best of luck and all three will look great!

I have the MT's in a passenger tire which is what you will want so they aren't as heavy. you can hear them on the road, but it's not bad at all especially for an AT tire like that. they are very smooth and handle great. My understanding is the Nitto's get noisier with age, but no experience. I would definitely get the MT's again.

Awesome, yes I looked up the SL and they are actually realitively lite in that load. Do you happen to have a pic handy?

Here is the Baja Boss AT on my brothers truck, if that's the tire you wanted pictures of.

Thank you. Yeah that’s a sweet looking tire. Very aggressive.

I finally put new tires on after 2 years of saying I need to get new tires on.
    Had GY Wranglers on and
I've ran BFG's and really like how they handle on snow.
Many reviews boast Yokohama as a quiet tire and one of the quietest mud tires. They were rated better on snow than the KO2 or KM3. Ran them on a Honda once and they did well so I'm trying the Geolandar X-AT.
Aggressive look and somewhere in between an AT and a MT.
My driving isn't practical for MT's as tough as they look.

It sounds like you only need a standard load tire but that can only be had in certain sizes. For instance if you get a 265 75 16 you can get the Baja boss that only weights 42 pounds. A 285 70 17 is only 48 pounds. I have the mickey thompson baja legend currently and I love them in a 285 75 16. I chose them over the Baja boss due to weight. In my size the legend is 56 pounds where as the boss weights ten pounds more. I had the grapplers before and thought they weren't great in the rain.

    • Honestly I have the standard load Baja boss AT in 265/75/r16 and wish I got the E load just because the standard load is wayyyy less aggressive and the E is a true 32 inch tire. Still these are the best tires I have ever had! In Washington state so great in snow and are insane in the sand basically just crawl up anything out in the dunes. Definitely getting the E load 285/75/16 soon IMG_1779.jpg IMG_2881.png

I really like the MT BB ATs. They have been great on road and off.
