This weekend I removed the OEM Tr-Fold cover and replaced with a Truxedo Lo Pro roll-up cover. I have a couple of questions for other Tacoma users.

First is how the cover fit against the tailgate. The instructions say to always close the cover before the tailgate and have the weather seal inside the tailgate. Seems a little strange to the put the weather seal inside the tailgate, but the weather seal doesn't really fit well either way.

What are you doing, Option A or Option B?

Option A - Tucked in: [IMG]

    Option B - On Top:[IMG]

The other question is on the tension adjustment. It also seems backwards to me. The cover should be slightly longer when hot, but the plunger is almost fully depressed now. Maybe 70 degrees outside. Wouldn't more plunger be exposed when the cover is hot to keep it tight and then retract when the cover is cold and shrinks?

    Thanks,
    Dave

I always shut the tailgate 1st then the Lo Pro. Seal on top of the tailgate. TruXedo said I could do it either way though. Water is going to get in the bed no matter how you choose to do it.

And I always thought that strange the way the cover tension er worked also. Cover shrank and expanded.
