I'm looking for a truck box/chest that fits below the bed rails.

I don't want it to stick up at all.

It looks like my bed is about 57" wide, 15" deep. Does anyone have a box in their first gen that fits like I described? I'm having trouble finding one for a reasonable price...

Are you saying you found one just not reasonably priced? I am. Not familar with a box like that, what have you found? What type bed do you have?

I have a standard bed regular cab 2004 Tacoma.

I am hoping to find a box that's fairly cheap, something on Craigslist would be preferred.

    Not this:

    But instead something like this:

Local auto parts stores should have those. I got mine off of eBay. Maybe there's some on there

Try Amazon, they have a decent selection too.

Never seen a box designed for that application, assuming that one is. Learned something new.
