Truck Bed Tent

Just picked up 1 of these. Can’t wait to set it up when it arrives. Anyone have one?

Got one. Plan is to move to a roof top tent. Not a big fan of these. Still use it but only while waiting on a new bed rack and then I will move over to RTT
-no bed cover so the bed gets dirty on the way out which then is where you are sleeping. Not great with dusty roads as you just wake up covered in dust.
-not a lot of room in general and less when you use a blow up mattress .
-material on the one I have doesn’t seem great as it can rip kinda easy.

I had one just like yours but I switched to a RTT.

 

Could you run one of these with a bed rack installed? Was wanting to order the RCI rack and run one of these tents (Rightline sells one with an open bottom) ‍♂️

 

Had mine for years, works great for 1 person.

 

I think the height of the tent wouldn’t allow it.

 

Yes, it has served me well.

 

I have one and it works great. Takes to long to setup though so I went back to a ground tent.

 

Looking at these pictures, its clear to me that all these tents were designed for long bed tacomas

 

Too tall and runs on outside. Won’t fit

 

I have a green one I think it’s called the backroadz I havnt used it yet tho I’ve had it since Jan or feb I hope to use it this summer

The Napier Backroadz has a quality control issues. I ordered one, it came with a broken pole. The replacement came with stitching issues on one of the screen windows. Sad, because the tens design is great. They are easy to put up and the materials seem durable. Price is pretty good. These qualities are important but become unimportant when they are assembled poorly.
