Just cosmetic: Window Tint, radio knobs, temp control knobs, Tech-Deck, Tonneau bed cover, tail gate lock, de-chromed all badges inside and out, installed back up camera and custom bedside decals.
Other than putting in one of those drawer systems, what do you some of you use for storage under your bed cover? Something that won't slide around that I can utilize with maybe a divider of some sort.

I’ve thought about cutting the floor out and doing a setup like the ridgeline, spare tire and crossmember in the way though

would be easy to start being a plastic bed

Different use case, as this was in my AT Habitat so did double duty as a floor, but Milk crates were cheap and easy. The opening between fender wells is ~42 inches, and milk crates are 13 inches wide, so could do 3 abreast (two fit perfectly between my battery box and fender). Milk crates have the longer double sized ones available too, as just the standard might be too small for your organizational needs/wants. I put lids on mine, as they became the floor, but with the plastic bed and the plastic milk crates they slide super easy. I actually zip tied two together so they'd pull out as one. That extra 3 inches, you might be able to make a "track" along either side to keep them in line.

I had a bed platform, bedrug, with 3 long sterilite totes from WalMart that fit pretty well.

I made my own drawer system. I used old repurposed plexiglass and some 1x6's. Made the box and then make some pull out drawers and put some handles to slide out. The plexiglass made the drawers slide easy without having tracks or rollers. It was perfect for tools and gear. I used it for a while in my Tacoma before I gave it to my buddy to use in his Ram. I might still have pictures if you want to see.

I recently bought a used Decked system and if I’m being honest, I wish I went the DIY route. The decked weighs a little over 200lbs with nothing in it! I also lost all but 2 tie down points and even those are partially obstructed.

I would go with something like post #7 here:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...eping-platform-drawer-storage-systems.424709/

or even just use some 2x2 to make a grid pattern in the bed and put milk creates in. Then you can just grab a create when you need it.

Huge fan of @BamBeds. They work great in our trucks. The totes are a 'friction fit', so when they're stacked at the cab you have use of the bed and the totes stay put. Extend the panels (15 sec. 20 if your knees are getting old) creating a full deck and you have even more 'covered storage'. Easily accomodate bed stiffeners. I made my own, since the owner, Ben, is that cool. He shared the dim's for DIY'ers. I'd just buy them from him though. I didn't treat the plywood and I've had to battle mold a bit etc. I'll be snagging a set from him at some point. Consider this a resounding "hell ya!" and validation of concept. As a young apprentice tool maker, the gifted journeyman I worked with use to say the best ideas were simple, but not obvious. ding ding ding!
