Hey everyone! I've been digging around and haven't been able to find a thread for truck bed drawer/kitchen systems. I did see Dave's amazing pull kitchen but I wanted to see everyone else's ideas and how they built their own versions. As a thread been started for this? Thanks!

I built mine for about $250 even with high lumber prices. It’s nothing fancy but it has worked for me.239015B4-62E0-48DF-A09A-C4D9BC2195D1.jpg

That’s perfect for a few hundred bucks. Too bad I have a short bed though…

mine is the short bed as well, I don’t sleep in there but I could if I wanted to. There are basically 3 pieces; the platform, the box, and the drawers. They all fit together like legos, no tools required to take it out or put in in. No complicated or expensive parts, simple yet functional design.

lol you’re not the first or last to accuse me of that

I was thinking I’m too damn tall to sleep on it although it would work in a pinch.

Had to cut a slight angle on one corner for the mold of the bed.DE5798BE-3F4E-4D8A-B0D7-C034AC6406AD.jpg B24437B8-05E3-41F8-8E4C-EB4B4705F445.jpg Next is the two 1/7 cross members, they fit perfect into two molded slots of the bed and you can see they keep the box frame from sliding forwards or backwards.353D9E7C-3EA8-4648-8ACD-F24D71CEA989.jpglast is the box frame made of 1x lumber and 1/4” plywood for the bottom. Sized to fit perfectly between the wheel wells so it won’t slide left or right.7ACA7CAB-612E-44A5-B4A1-E31EB126E225.jpgand this is all the pieces, took literally less than 10 minutes to disassemble by myself including pulling all the stuff I had loaded on the platform. Every piece of wood I coated with two layers of linseed oil for water protection. Even though it’s under the shell, it still get a little water every now and then.

I like it! Simple and inexpensive. I recently sold all my Tepui stuff and want something to crash in on quick trips. Sleeping diagonally might be ok once in a while but eventually I’d like to sell my Snug Top and just get a Super Pacific or similar.

Loving everyone's drawer system builds. I recently finished my build and would love to get feedback or improvement ideas.
