Hey guys, any input as to why my Powered Sub is powering on, but no sound? I have the wires spliced on the headunit side of the kicker keys wiring. Everything else is functioning like it should but I'm just not getting any bass from the sub itself, I'm short of pulling it back out to recheck the wiring but I'm just about 99% sure that I have good connections and spliced the right wires.

@destin_meeks would you have any input on this?

Is the bass knob all the way down?
Is the crossover all the way down?

other than those two questions, it’s either wiring or defective sub

Would using the wrong gauge power and ground wire be a possible cause? I accidentally used 14 gauge instead of the called for 10 gauge

    No, it wouldn’t prevent sound.

however, if you used 14awg wire and the recommended 15A fuse up at the battery, you run a high risk of damaging that power wire and causing a short once the insulation melts.
