Anyone install the 9 switch panel from Cali Raised?

They said it would require some trimming and sure enough it does.
Looks easy enough but would like somebody's experience as to exactly what needs trimming.
Spent way too much $$$ to muck it up now.

Looked all over Youtube & Google for any kind of anything ... NOTHING.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help.

Looks like a @MESO product to me, if so it is a direct replacement.
At least mine was. (Custom configuration).

I think when u put switches to the far outside on the top, shit behind it needs to be trimmed for the switch to fit.

Ah I wish you have showed it with the pieces cut off before assembly.

Pop the OEM plate off and it will be easy to see.

Literally was just figuring this out myself last night haha. I did some test cutting with a dremel on my work truck, was pretty ugly but it got the clearance needed in the end so now I know how much to trim when I do my own truck. Did you end up just taking off the whole trim panel to remove those parts, or just the switch panel? I noticed the right hand piece cut out had a bolt holding the plastic piece in while I was looking at it last night

Only removed the switch panel itself. Used one of these to trim it ...

What is the purpose of the piece that requires trimming? Seems like a remnant with no real purpose but it must be there for some reason.

I believe the oem ties in / locates of those pieces that are cut off. The aftermarket doesn, only on the periphery I think.

I'm not sure but I am sure trimming them does not effect integrity of the plates mounting itself. Solid as ever.
