Alright I’ve seen this question before but I haven’t seen it in my options. I have a 2007 Tacoma 4x4 6 speed manual that is extended cab. Is it the pre runner or x runner or trd one or the base or the sr5? It has the trd stickers on the bed and the sr5 badges on the tailgate. Any answers?

Do you have a power outlet in your bed?

For years, from the factory, All TRD's were SR5's, but not all SR5's were TRD's. A TRD was an SR5 with extra. At some point they stopped that, and you get the SR5 OR step up to one of the TRD packages.

you've got an outlet...only available with a TRD package
    you've got 4x4, PreRunners are exclusively 4x2
    XRunners are slammed PreRunners.

    16" or 17" rims?
Do you have a locker on the rear ?

if you do you have a Off Road, probably stock 16's
if you don't you have Sport, stock 17's

There you go, the venerated TRD Off Road. As good as it got in '07.

Prolly have Bilsteins unless the PO changed 'em for some reason.

Pat yourself on the back and send it.

Thank y’all. I know some people will just slap a sticker on there just to make it look better. New to this truck and new to a Toyota.

one last thing, sounds like this rig is new to you, and I don't know where you or the truck are from, but inspect your frame, particularly under the front foot wells. This generation is known to get some rot there if left unattended. You'd think the PO got a notice from Toyota to get it inspected, but again, I have no idea if you know much of the trucks history. Take a Look.

extended cab..do you mean a DC, Double Cab with 4 regular doors and a full on back seat, or the far superior, much more desirable AC, Access Cab with the mini suicide doors and jump seats?

TRD Off Road came out in 1998 with the SR5 badge on the door pillar, until model year 2005 when it moved to the tailgate. TRD Sport and Off Road models continued to rock it until 2010. 2011 model year was the first year without it for the TRD Sport/Off Road models. So, first 12 years with SR5 badge, last 10 years without SR5 badge. :notsure:
