Anybody got a part number for the 2016 Sport hood with the hood scoop? My dealer and parts department are incapable of getting this part number somehow. Im trying to throw a hood scoop on my trd offroad (TRD Pro Style).

I don't think the 2016 hood fits the current 2nd gen?

I ordered a 2016 TRD Offroad. Trying to add the hood scoop.

Maybe find a trade in same color, I'm sure someone would be willing. If I were getting a sport I would trade. I prefer the non scoop look. Just my personal preference tho.

Unfortunately it looks like they don't list the hood scoop in the parts catalog yet. They have everything else listed, but not the scoop itself, it's shown in the diagram, but there is no part number shown.

    ----
    What they do list:

    53301-04230 - Hood
    76182-04010 - Guide/Insert
    76183-04010 - Protector/Seal Top
    76185-04010 - Protector/Seal Bottom
    90167-50063 - Screw, Tapping (Qty: 4)
    90080-17189 - Nut, Flange (Qty: 4)
    11298-0P250 - Label, Hood (Emissions)
    88723-04060 - Label, Hood (A/C)

I would love to swap out the limited hood for the sport hood on the 2016 that is coming. Anyone have any idea what that could possibly cost?

The scoop is molded into the hood. You dont add a scoop to a hood that does not have one. You have to get a new hood (one with the scoop mold). Then, in your diagram you also need parts 6, 7 and 8. Those are basically plastic inserts.

Yes, I understand that, as I own a '16 Sport. I was just trying to get clarification on reading the diagram, i.e. wondering whether #6 was the part listed under Related Parts and, if so, why it was broken out separately from the other hood components.

    Thanks.

How the heck can your dealer and parts department not get the part number? FYI there are tons of posts, two I'm on personally, that deal with this. Do your homework first

Douche huh? Funny how the next day multiple members had the part number. Good job doing your research. Lazy ass. It's amazing how the internet works. You should check it out sometime
