I’m in the market for some TRD seat covers, the ones with the TRD logo. My truck is a 2006 TRD Sport. There are so many companies that make these, just curious which ones are comparatively good to the ones that are sold at the Toyota dealer but also at a good price. I only want the two front Sport package bucket seat covers.

I have the Toyota TRD covers and they are nice but don’t “breathe” well . I’m looking for others myself

I posted this in another seat cover thread but I'll post it here too. Previous owner got Katzkins with TRD Sport logo. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but hope it helps

Wet Okole can apply the TRD decal to the covers. I had TRD Off Road on my 06 Tacoma Wet Okole seat covers in red. It looked great. The neoprene breathes well to me in Hawaii. I've had Wet Okoles on all of my vehicles and also makes for a softer ride.

Thanks for the suggestions all. I’m open to more, I know there are lots of companies that make these. Steer me toward or away for said reasons.

I have these in my truck and like them...however, the TRD logo is flaking off and looks like crap now. I would not get them with the TRD logo because they're just hot ironed/glued on. The covers themselves are great, a bit more cushion and keep my seats underneath looking nice. Cleanup on them is pretty easy as well. I do have a spot on the driver's bottom cushion worn through from years of getting/sliding out of the truck seat, pretty typical wear spot though and can't fault the mfr for it.

Katzkin leather seat covers. They replace your existing upholstery. Promise you will like them.IMG_1864.jpg

02E74ADD-1EF8-47E4-BF67-5440664A0EC2.jpg Those look nice. So they’re not a slip over cover but a recover. A professional re-upholstery job?

Edit: Just looked them up and filled out the info. Yikers!
That’s a bit more than I was planning on. ;)

Easy to install yourself. The only tool you need that you may not have is some hog ring pliers, and some hog rings. There are several install writeups here on the forum. There is also a forum upholsterer that gives members a deal on Katzkin. PM him before you give up on it John at jhuey8947

So how much for the covers without installation?

As for cost, I installed mine over 4 years ago, so big disclaimer!!! Your options (contrasting thread, perforated panels, logo, etc) will impact the costs as well. I think current installed costs for most installations would be 1500 to 2200 dollars, but best to get a quote and you can see the cost of the covers without installation.

Clazzio is only about $500 and you can install yourself. No reason to spend ~$2k on seats that add no resale value on a $20k truck. I suggest going with grey so it matches the rest of the trim and seatbelts

This looks like the route I’m going to go with. Thanks all for chiming in with your suggestions and thoughts. Gotta love TW for that. :)
