I paid around $175 (US) each for real ones, from the dealership.

For a few more Canadian Pesos you can get the real thing. The bigger issue would be....do you really trust wheels from an unknown source on a $40000+ truck?

Thanks for posting this, i've been looking to pick up some of those TRD wheels. If i go to my local dealership, would i be able to get them for roughly the same price as the link you posted? never done this before, just wondering

In Canada my truck is about $50K after our taxes and such... lol... I am okay with a good quality replica and an example of this is what BMW owners often put on their non "M" class Beemer. These wheels could be complete junk but was wondering if any guys are running them.

Has your dollar fallen that much? Again, here the real wheels are around $175 each.

Ya dude, it's about 35% more to off-set the dollar... And shipping to Canada? Forget about it lol

I recently tried to order $700 worth of barn board planks to do my bedroom wall. This converted into $1600 after the exchange and shipping costs because of the weight!

    Tying to keep in Canada!

What's the best deal you can get on the OEM versions in Canada?

The only quality replica TRD wheels I would consider are the FN FX PROs. I picked up mine from here.

Keep an eye out for their free shipping offer if you decide to buy from them.

Calling around today when I have moment but my guy at Toyota said about $4-500 a rim. He could be wrong... I have always found parts from Dealers in Canada ridiculously expensive... My KO2's (265/70/17) were $1,300 yesterday and thats only because Toyota matched a deal I found at a tire shop...

I believe the SRP is around $215, so most dealers will probably charge you that amount. whats great with Olathe toyota is they wont charge you tax outside Kansas and for me, shipping was $100 flat

Yeah, I've spoken to Canadian dealers about these wheels and essentially they have to buy from that dealer in Texas everyone links to. Can't buy direct from Toyota. At least that's what I've been told!

Which is why they retail for $315-350 each here after shipping, and exchange.

When I'm ready I'm buying from http://parts.tituswilltoyota.com/ they are close to me, I'm right by th eborder in BC and have US shipping address.

@Aarnp18 Toyota dealers in canada are not able to order them unless you already have them and they have to go through the warranty to be able to order them .....

Defiantly go with the legit ones. The only thing I would trust with the copy rims would be the spare but even then it would be more comforting to know that you have OEM ones.

I would not buy "replica" wheels because of the unknown quality of them. OEM have quality standards and have been tested to withstand a lot of beating. Whereas the replicas just have the look, but don't have the quality. FN wheels would be a nice alternative for those that want more aggressive offset and to fit onto bigger tires.

I'm pretty new to all things Tacoma but I am certainly not new to aftermarket wheels. I bought a set of the replicas and they had the same packaging sticker as in that Craigslist post so I imagine they are all coming from the same place. I bought mine on eBay from wheelhauz305 for $649 shipped. I'm net endorsing this seller but I did have a good experience (had wheels in 2 or 3 days).

I mainly went the replica route for a couple reasons.
    1. I wanted the 8" width.
    2. I didn't want to deal with the wait time for FN wheels.
    3. I didn't like the flat center cap of the FN wheels.
Honestly, the FN's were my first choice but I could simply click "Buy It Now" on eBay.

Anyway, the wheels are, in my opinion, high quality. They are hub-centric. They are a 5mm offset so my 265/70/17's sit juuust inside the fender flares. The mounting surfaces are masked of paint. The paint finish on all 4 wheels was flawless. The wheels have all the appropriate load ratings (800kg), date codes, and qualification markings in the casting. No balancing issues, no leaking issues, etc. I'm happy with them.

To dig on the replicas a bit, the center caps are not OEM quality. The preload ring in the cap is on the weak side and they are not properly sized. I stretched them out a bit so they provided more preload. I am not worried that they will fall out but I wanted to be sure since I imagine replacement caps are impossible to get. Secondly, the "TRD" logo is a stick-on piece that you have to put on yourself. Alcohol prep and they stuck just fine. Lastly, I would have liked the lug bores to me masked from paint but with the lug style the Tacoma uses, I am not seeing any issues with paint chipping, etc.

All that said, I am happy with my choice. Though, I didn't anticipate the need to install a small 1" lift spacer to keep the slightly larger tires from rubbing my mudflaps but that little bit of extra work makes the truck look better anyway.
