Have 2016 TRD Sport trading in for 2020 TRD Pro

I have KO2 285/70 R17 with spacer lift and 5100 all around on the 2016 with some rubbing on UCA at full lock and some fender. Lived with it for years. Ride is rigid.

With the TRD PRO I would like to start off on the right foot and leave it stock but upgrade to KO2 is the best size 265/75 R16 ?

Thoughts and pics of other TRD Pro with 265 75 R 16 KO2?

    Thanks

Welcome. There is a mega thread on 265/75/16 around here. That size should fit no problem with the OEM wheels.

Yes that size will fit no problem. Tires might "touch" the front mudflaps.

Thanks @yetisb I can get you some more angles if you want. I eventually plan on getting the westcott lift and wish I had gone with 285s think they would have fit no problem as well.

I'll have a white one from the side... soon. I just have to decide between 265/75/16 and 285/70/16, but the new tires will be on the truck by the end of the year!

I went with the 265/75/16 on the TRD PRO, Looks mint. Not as high as my 285 on TRD Sport but also glad I didn't mess around with stock suspensions like my last truck.

If you are planning to wheel (not just fire roads) and don’t want to lift it then go with the 265s. 285s WILL rub at full lock with full flex in the front even on the pro, even with trimming.

Agree....on my 2016 I lived with 285 rub for 5 years with stock UCA and Bilstein 5100 and vowed to do it right next time. The stance is not as aggressive but more functional for me. My profile pic is the 285

If you want to go with a true 33” tire on stock pro suspension with stock pro wheels then the 255/85/16 pizza cutters will fit at full lock, full flex, no rub.
