    Hey Everyone,
I wanted to offer my services to the site. For those of you running Fox TRD PRO suspension I am able to rebuild those for y'all if you've reached the point of them needing service. I have three years of experience building shocks and treat every set as if they were going on my own truck. I can do the Tundra and 4Runners as well if anyone has the need on here. I can also rebuild Icon, King, SwayAway and others.

I am located in Central Texas so those needing the work done around there would be the easiest to do however I do accept shocks from all over the US. If you need to ship the cost of shipping to and from would be on you. I would recommend making sure that the coil spring is removed to save on weight for shipping however if you are unable to do so they can be sent to me with them on. I will inspect the bushings under the top hat and discuss replacement with you if they look worn.

Basic Rebuild: $600 as of January 1st due to rebuild kits going up in price (for all four shocks)
      • Includes shock cleaning inside and out, new seals, fresh oil, polishing of the shock shafts, polishing of the ifp
Swap Bushings: $100 (for front bottom of 3rd gen TRD PRO)
      • Removal of old bottom bushings and install of new ones. Most TRD PRO shocks need this done as the original bushing becomes oblong over time.
Please reach out with questions and I will answer to the best of my ability.

I have included some before and after photos of my work as well as suggested service intervals from Fox.

Little love on the ifp because it can’t hurt. Smooth surfaces make a better seal.

There shouldn’t be oil coming from there. Shock oil smelled like dead fish!

Brand new 600 lb springs to finish these out. Other one just needs the coil spring put on but was excited to share how they turned out.

If anyone needs I have a spare set of trd pro shocks for exchange. I can send these to you and you send me yours back once you’ve swapped them out so you have zero downtime. Just need pictures to make sure we are doing an even swap for both of us.

Easy to do business with had him rebuild a set of rear fox trd pro shocks. Ian knocked them out in one day (changed oil and refilled nitrogen) and had them sent back to me. Sent me pictures as he was working on them too. Cheaper than sending them to Fox, really happyIMG_2047.jpgIMG_2048.jpg

I used Ian’s swap service instead of shipping out my 2019 Fox suspension and waiting for them to come back. His communication through the process of rebuilding the set that he would ship me was fantastic. He even gave me the option of shipping them with or without springs installed if I wanted to remove the springs from my current set and save on shipping (I did not do this though). Swap service made it quick and easy to keep my truck on the road without the extended downtime and I am super grateful to have had that option. Rebuilt set feels fantastic in the truck and the picture I’ve attached shows what a rear shock needing a rebuild looks like compared to a freshly completed rear shock. This set was sold to me as having 19k (I could not verify this mileage though or what kind of usage they saw on the original truck) and I put around 5k on them before contacting Ian. You can see the rears did not fully extend on rebound and had to be pulled out by hand from that point to reach full extension. What you can’t see in the picture is that the rebuilt rears compression would be stiff for a short amount of travel and then move very smoothly through the remaining compression travel (my understanding is that this is because of the internal bypass design compared to monotube like the off road’s oem Bilsteins). The rears I removed would remain very stiff throughout the entire compression travel and rebound was extremely slow until it finally reached the point that I would have to pull it the rest of the way out. I did not remove the springs so I could not test the travel of the fronts. I went with the rebuilt full set so that I had a fresh set across the board rather than just doing the rears that felt the worst while driving.

please excuse the nasty carpet remanent I keep in the garage for working on the truck and cars

What is the size of the bushing for the eyelet of the TRD Fox Pro shocks? Mine are shot and need to replace them but can not find any info on the correct size.

If your bushings are that worn the rest of the shock more than likely needs service as well unless you’ve taken care of that already.
    Where are you located?

I am located in Phx, AZ and I have no other issues with the shocks no leaks or squeaks. Just the bushing is bad on one side but wanted to do both of or it is my daily driver.
