The center cap just pulls off. It's held on by 5 plastic tabs. No need to remove lug nuts.
Back Side: IMG_9620.jpg Toyota emblem: IMG_9621.jpg
The emblem is easily removed. Just a good smack with a small hammer to the tabs that protrude through the center cap. Then pull or pry it off the front. The tips of my tabs were not melted, just a little thicker than the slot they fit through.
Hope someone finds this information helpful.

I’m not patient enough to wait for overseas delivery. Looks great though! Nice instructions too.

Looks good, damn I purchased a set wrong size about 2 weeks ago. Got the 52 instead of 60mm

Planned to paint the stock rims gloss black and Add the stickers for a close to pro look

It doesn't look too bad. At Harbor Freight, they have a tool like this:
    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Performa...0OB7GG_w_VM7KBNlvAibVLffx-N-OEOwaAn-iEALw_wcB

I believe it is usually $4 there? Just hook it on the back of the center cap and pull gently but firmly. They will come off and you can decide for yourself.

I Did. I removed them. Sanded then painted. After three years they still look new.

Thanks for this! Related question - did you have any issues getting the center caps back on and feeling secure? How exactly did you get them into place? I have a 2021 and had the center caps stolen (not thrilled with a brand new truck! but could have worse...). I ordered OEM replacements from a Toyota dealer. Every time I've tried to install the new ones, they kind of sit in there somewhat firmly, but I can just flip them back out with my finger. I can't imagine they don't secure in there any better, but no matter how many times I try they just don't feel secure. Thanks!
