    Good day to all,

Curious to see what others have paid for the dealership to install the lift? My dealership and another closer is @1700.00 which seems a bit high. I am not afraid to do my own wrenching. If it was less I would add the lift into my upcoming loan. It will be awhile before I decide on the aftermarket (Bilstein, OME, etc).

I’ve read on here that many people have paid ~$850 for install labor.

Is that price for the kit and installation, or just labor? If the latter that's kinda high. Even at $150/hr shop rate that's 11.33 hours. The lift kit msrp is $1,450 but I've seen it for around $1,200, and Toyota estimates installation time at 4-5 hours. If that price includes the kit it's a good deal.

I paid $800 for them to install it didn’t include parts. Most people pay $600 for the install but my dealer is the only one around for hundreds of miles so they can charge whatever they want. I’d do it again after knowing what it looks like and how my sport now drives off road. I get to keep my TSS and factory warranty. I’m sure you could get something aftermarket that would look and perform even better. I’m not a mechanic so this was a good option for me.

The 2 dealerships kit(current) price @1200 and both said @9 hours for install roughly @1700 to install the kit. Not joking. I did a similar lift on my 98 with jack stands in 4 hrs using the infamous coil spring compressors from autozone rental.

I can’t even get my local dealer to speak to me. I’ve left messages and zero feedback.

    That's nuts.

How does the OEM kit stack up against other commonly used options?

Nothing. Just busy I’d imagine or perhaps poor customer service?

I believe the OEM primary advantage is that it keep warranty intact.

The cost seems to be 1k more (installed) when compared to 3rd party lifts. I’m looking at it as $1k more to make sure my warranty is good (since I have a 2022).

Just drive it stock and lift it with quality parts after the warranty ends. A quality lift shouldn’t impact the warranty anyway unless it is directly related to damage and that’s on Toyota to prove if they want to be a PIA. For about your price I ordered Eibach pro 2.0 front coilovers, rear shocks, and Deaver 402 leaf packs, new bushings and u-bolts.

When I bought mine dealer told me the TRD lift was $2k installed. He didn't break out the details of parts vs. labor as I wasn't that interested.
I ended up with 5100s on all 4 corners. 885s in the front and a 1.5" AAL in the rear.
Total parts cost was about $820.
Labor was like 1/2 day in the garage.

Brother in law paid $1055 for kit and $700 labor to install with an alignment.

Just heard back from Modesto Toyota and Stockton Toyota. Both said 1350 for install only. Price Includes the alignment

Hey bud - I'm also in Nashville. Who did you end up going with for this? I've now spoken to 2 out of the 4 dealers in the middle TN area (North Nashville and Beaman) and the first quoted ~$1750 for labor at 8.5hrs. Second quoted ~$1700 at 11.5hrs. This is labor only. What a joke.

Already got the parts...just need to get an install done...

Edit: make that 3 dealers - Cool Springs just quoted 11 hours at $2040. These people have lost their fucking minds.
