Thought I’d post this to help people in the future.

I recently purchased and installed the TRD intake on my ‘21 TRD Off-road and I tried to track down a CARB sticker (lucky me, I live in CA). That proved to be quite challenging and I reached dead end after dead end.

After a bunch of phone calls and 3 visits to different parts departments at Toyota dealerships I was able to get my hands on one and now have a part number for people to use in the future.

I just confirmed this part number works on most of all the usual Toyota online parts distribution websites and it cost $.01 plus shipping.

Hope this helps guys in the future

Thanks for posting this, as I'm in CA but what was the purpose of obtaining this? You won't have to get the car smogged until 2029. Just prepping now for it?

If you plan on selling your vehicle via private party sale, you’re required to have it smogged. I just wanted it for piece of mind so I wouldn’t have to scramble to either find the sticker or swap back to factory should I decide to sell. For $6 to me it was worth it to complete the intake install. Still think it’s dumb they don’t include it with the intake

Not so sure it’s dumb the vast majority of people buying this intake could care less about it so it kind of makes sense to sell it as an extra instead of paying to equip all of them with it. Agreed it’s annoying for us poor CA slobs though
