Hello, I just recently traded in my 2010 access cab 5 lug for a 2013 Double cab 4x4. I really like the TRD off road South Carolina decal. Will I get hated on if I had a TRD decal on my truck even though it's not a TRD? Oh yeah, it also has the 16in alloy wheels that come with the off road package, so only a small group of people would be able to know that its not really a TRD.

go for it, I see it all the time... it should also increase hp by +7 and you will not be able to lock the rear...also do not be surprised if you get 3-15 inches of lift after install

Your truck, your call. Like you said, only a handful of people would actually know that it's not a TRD Off Road just by looking at it. If you were to ask me if I would, I would say no but even if I had a TRD Off Road, I'd probably take off the bedside decals. The function of a locker, ATrac, the interior and the bed plug are the real features of the TRD Off Road, not a sticker. If it's just for looks, do what makes you happy, your truck.

I wouldn't do it. I am actually thinking of taking my TRD off cause it would look cleaner.

I really have no opinion either way, like said before, its your truck. If your happy with it, go for it.

With that said, I would be sure to remove it before trade in or resale. Don't want someone thinking they're getting something they're not, specialy trade in, cause we all know a dealer would advertise that as a true off-road.

Wow, thanks for all the replies! I mainly want the sticker just because it has South Carolina on it. It's a state pride thing.

Why not ask sock to make a SR5 decal with the state?
