Has anyone put the trd cold air intake on? Was it worth the money in your opinion? Could you tell any difference in power or gas mileage? Etc.

Welcome to TW. I would suggest using the forum’s search feature to find the answer to your question. Quite a few members have installed this mod.

Personally I don’t think it’s worth the money. Your stock air box pulls “cold” air from the fender. It will however make cool noises.

Not worth it if you have to pay full price for sure. Wait for it to go on sale.
Mine sounds the same as stock to me. Can’t feel any difference in power. Im averaging about .5 mpg better now, but who knows. I changed all the drivetrain fluids at the same time as the CAI so it could be that.
    Also do a search.
I got mine during one of the 20% off and free shipping sales, then I sold the air filter so it was worth it to me.

    lol

OP…Yeah I have it. Not really worth the money. I knew that when buying it and still got it because I like the Toyota heritage and the look.

There are like 6,000,000 other threads around with a ton of info you can read through.

Hard top camper...many more to add+
From what I understand …it does provide a very tiny amount of benefits..I prefer a paper filter vs the oil version… The cost of TRD air intake system vs it benefits , many say NOT worth it…but it does look cool…

I say if you want it? Go for it…we all spent lots of money on all kinds of MODS.many makes very little sense or benefits so the ..main thing if you like it..go for it..
    Aloha
