Man, I put some $$$ away so I could buy a set of black (with silver beadlock color) TRD wheels and tires for my 2020 Taco only to see that they are sold out and what appears to be DISCONTINUED.

Anyone know if that is the case? I should have bought them if I had known back then what I know now. The new TRD wheels, IMHO, look like DUNG. I LOVE the TRD beadlock wheels, so does anyone have an idea as to why they are not being sold anywhere?

    Covid Problems?
    Didn't sell enough (doubt it!)?
    New version of them?

    *Faux beadlocks.

Look for a used set. All the cool kids abandoned the beadlock style for aftermarket stuff with nonsensical names like Method and Fuel.

    a) Ick on aftermarket wheels. No thanks (IMHO).
    b) I don't like "used" anything. I grew up a poor kid. I had used clothes, used books, used shoes, used pencils, leftovers every day. I will not buy anything used if I can avoid it.
    c) Yes, faux beadlocks but I LOVED LOVED LOVED the look.

The question I had is are they discontinued by TRD? Their new wheels are fugly.

Could be any number of reasons (limited plant capacity, degraded casting dies, low sales). Spares sales tend to be much lower than OEM production usage. The TRD fake beadlocks were last used in 2nd gen TX Baja/Pro and TRD Pro models, which means they haven't been used in OEM builds for 6 years. Toyota evolves wheel designs pretty frequently (for better or for worse). The 2020 TRD Pro wheels are changed to this design in 2022:

And you'll have the option of using 3rd-gen Tundra wheels:

Appreciate it, I just don't like the looks of any of these.

Thanks CJOH22A. PTR1835090 is the black with silver beadlocks.

I don't offroad and you can get replacement rings if you do damage them. I think the Tundra wheels are fugly too. :)

I think I'll order them. From Canada they are a little over 1k with shipping. Then tires.....

Be sure to check the prices and in-stock status of the rings ;) They're probably discontinued too and remaining stock is probably expensive.

Looks like I’ll be holding onto my set of 5 new in boxes for a bit.

I'd advise going with 17" wheels to avail yourself more tire options (up to the 35x10.5" Kenda pizza cutters I run with minimal trimming).

Yeah screw it I got the 17in wheels. Thanks 3JOH22A. I got a full set for less than $800 delivered. Now I need a wheel lock and I can use the stock tires for now so that also saves some cash. I may go ahead and sell the stock wheels since they have only 2600 miles on them.

are you assuming that just because there’s 6 lugs? Or do you already know the bolt pattern and hub bore of the new Tundra?

I know OP already bought his wheels, but perhaps someone can help me out here and possibly someone else who may read and be interested?

I saw a manufacturer of "reproduction" Toyota style wheels including various models of TRD truck rims. Interestingly, they made them in stock finish and, a variety of other colors and most importantly, they offered a choice of offsets and widths that you can't get with a TRD rim to facilitate more options on tire size while retaining the classic TRD look. But I can't remember their name ...anyone know?

Educated guess. 3rd gen Tundra, 4th gen Tacoma, and the J300 Land Cruiser are all on the same platform. The J300 Land Cruiser has already been shown with existing GX460 wheels:
