Travel lite 690 slide in camper for Tacoma or other truck - $5500

Hey,
I'm selling a 2009 Travel lite 690 slide in camper. I'm the second owner and have owned it about 2 year.

Some of the features include:
15 gal water tank
Two burner LP stove with 20LB tank
LP heater
Air conditioning and fan on roof
Queen sized bed above cab, Twin sized bed made by benches and table.
Table can be used in the camper or as a free standing table.
2 Cu Ft 3 way fridge, 120V, 12V, propane
Microwave
Fold flat sink
Led lights around exterior, (handy for finding kid toys in the sand) very bright
Led floor lights for interior walk (blue and white)
Brand new 24DC maxx battery.

I have been using this in my 2008 double cab Tacoma for camping on the beach. Even with my 5 foot bed the truck still handles well and drives in the loose sand very well. This is a great camper for the Tacoma and one of a limited list that the truck can handle. Its pretty great being able to drive your Tacoma out to some remote places and sleep in complete comfort.

The one thing not working in the camper is the power unit. The 120V to DC converter isn't functioning, For what I use it for it has never been a big deal as I never use shore power anyway.

If you do want the Camper for a Tacoma I can also let you have all the mounts that you will will need to hold it in the bed. That would run you a few $100. Also if yo have a Tacoma you would need the "Firestone ride right" airbags for the rear of the truck. You can find plenty of information here on Tacomaworld.com about them.

I'm selling because I have a second kid on the way and need to sell the truck to buy... a man Van. I'm also selling the truck and can make you a package deal if you are interested. The truck will be in a different post.

 

Do you know the approximate weight of the camper?

 

Its 1095lbs per the manufacture label.

 

You can't fit 2 kids in a back seat that fits 3 adults?

 

Yea. But I can't fit 2 kids and two nieces.

 

If you are interested in renting for a month or so, let me know. Looking to stay at the ski hills up north instead of traveling. Might be the ticket
