Any recommendations on transmission jacks for dropping the r60? Been running into constant problems with the throwout bearing in my truck and will definitely need to drop my trans soon once i can decide which “fix” to go with and would rather do it myself. I am still debating between installing the tsb clutch fork parts, urd sleeve and bearing and a new pressure plate (just changed my clutch 500 miles ago or thatd be replaced too) vs the clutchmasters bearing and a new pp. Any input on that would also be appreciated.

The scissor jack kind from harbor freight has never let me down. I usually buy them when I need to use them and sell them when done like I do engine hoists since I don’t have room for them.

generally have them sold within the day for like 30% off what I paid.

I’ve used them on everything from a Delorean to a Chevy Silverado 1500 manual

+1 for harbor freight, have used it to drop the trans multiple times now. When going to put the trans back in I’d suggest lowering and raising the trans on the jack a few times outside of the truck to get it to sit as level as possible when it’s at height. It also helps you get a “feel” for how this thing behaves .

I agree with the others, the harbor freight is a great jack for this application, I have used mine multiple times dropping the trans
