    Hey

New here, I got a new tire and wheel package a couple months ago from discount tire. p265/70r16 falken wildpeak at3 with 16x8 inch alloy wheels, 0 offset. Got around 3,000 miles on them so far. I realized recently that I want to go back to stock wheels with the positive 25mm offset/inset(?), or whatever it is. Want to take the fairly new wildpeak tires and wrap them around my original stock steel wheel, which is 16x7 inches. I don't know if this is a stupid question. Is there anything in these particular circumstances that would make this a deal breaker? Taking a tire that has been wrapped around 16x8 for a good little while and putting it on a 16x7? I know diameter wouldn't change but the wheel width changing made me consider. I know that I could have taken a brand new tire in that size and put it on a 16x7 wheel, even though some sources say 265mm width is too wide for a 7 inch width wheel. TRD offroad comes with this very size tire and wheel I believe. Can the tire be too stretched having been on the 16x8 wheel to then try to put on a 16x7? Please enlighten me, thanks!
