Hello, I recently replaced my factory rear bumper on my 18 TRD OR DC with an aftermarket bumper. Once I remounted the 7pin/4 pin connector from my stock bumper the wiring harness is now short due to the new bumper. Anyone know if there is an extension available? Thanks

Found what I needed. If anyone runs into this after upgrading their rear bumper I found this from curt manufacturing. I just cut out the four connector plug and was left with the extension I needed plug and play. Gonna shorten it a bit so I can make it up neatly under the bed. Will get pics when i’m Done and post. Thanks

You should have more harness if you cut all the ties holding the harness from the bumper to the tank area... I was able to get plenty to make mine work.... beats having to re-solder everything... Just the Lic. Plate lights

What was the end result? I found the same part on etrailer.com, but it says that it is not compatible with a Tacoma? I am exploring this option to add a brake light strip with a 4 pin flat connection to avoid wire splicing. Thanks!

I got the same part, and I ended up splitting it , making the wires longer in order to make it fit. but, it works good, and tested it with a test light. cheap way to make it work.

Old post but this worked. After adding a HC rear bumper I had the same issue. I was super lazy in trying to re-solder / add extension wires.

I bought exactly what you linked, plugged it in the OE connectors and left the 4 plug. Tested connections at a local U haul. Ready to pull a small trailer again.

Op is gone? This is just an easy way for a plug and play extension correct?
