    I was quoted:
Standard Size Trail Swing (DCTS10-1) $1750
Free set of locking lug nuts included.

Price is to much for me, no doubt is a solid product, my only concern is towing with it. I talked to the guys at Rigd and they have done some testing as far as towing capabilities goes. When I talked to Dirtcom they only said that the tow rate for the standard size is class 3. I don't know if they take into account that the vehicle’s maximum tow capacity gets reduce significantly because of compounding leverage.

If towing is important for you this is something you must consider.

But again, Dirtcom seems likes a pretty good solid option. But with that price tag you can get a complete rear bumper with a swing for an extra $400 give or take. Its all depends, both setups have pros and cons.

1750?! I dont think so. An entire new rear bumper is that much.

If you have specific questions I would give them a call, I was told by them that they have customers that tow frequently and they haven't had any issues as long as they stay within limiting of the towing specs.... see this link below, pretty decent info...

    https://www.rigdsupply.com/pages/how-much-should-i-tow-with-an-ultraswing

On another note the guys from Dirtcom release another tire carrier but it swings to the left (driver side) for the Lexus GX but it can be use on the Tacoma too.

I found a pretty solid video with good info on them but I still find them to be to high in price.

    https://youtu.be/9iLmmXeDG4w

I'll be pulling the plug on the Rigd, lower price and more peace of mind when towing.

If Dirtcom was cheaper and they had more solid info on towing I would have gone with them.

Nice. So what i took out of that for our trucks (at least mine) is max tow weight is 3,250lbs and 340lbs for the TW. Since thats half of both of what they recommend. Seem right?

Thats correct... I have a camper trailer with a dry weight of about 1,840lbs so as long I'm under 3,200lbs (6,400 max tow rate for my Tacoma) I should be okay in theory.

Will you be doing another group buy? And when can we get more info on the table option?

I'd be interested in a group buy pending the price

Anyone have one of these and can measure distance between tailgate and spare tire? Or have a side profile picture of it?
