I'm taking my nephew back to Palm Dez this weekend and am gonna throw in some wheeling while I'm out there. I was wondering if any of you knew of a few suitable trails for a truck with 2WD, LSD on 33s y Long Travel. I'm not too worried about locker situations (I'll just push gas harder during those parts lol.)

So far I have 7S01 (Pidgeon Springs Rd) and 7S02 (Santa Rosa Truck Trail) in mind so I can check out Toro Peak (Will not be connecting the two trails I hear it's 4x only.) Have yet to check googles maps well to see the dez portion. Any help would be nice :) Thanks.

I'd just drive an hour south to Ocotillo Wells. Long travel trucks seem to have more fun than anybody else out there.

I hear ya. I think I'm gonna go East and check out the Painted Canyon / Mecca Hills area. I'd do the mountain trails, but I ALWAYS go back through the 74/371 I'll head back from Painted Canyon to take the 86 to Salton City's pole line road to Ocotillo Wells. That should be a good deal of fun driving :)

I'd go out the 8 and make my way to salton city. Poleline sucks south off the 78 though. Don't think you would make it in a 2wd. But north of 78 is easy.
