Anyone have the Trail Gear Rock Sliders that are suppose to be bolt on? Do you have to drill holes in your frame or do the sliders bolt on using existing holes? Also, if anyone has any pictures with these sliders installed I'd love to see them.

I've heard of a few members having them. You have to drill for bolt ons. They recommend welding them on.

Everybody that has them seems to like them. I'm blanking on their usernames.

    DOM standard and pretty cheap.

031.jpg Got the bolt on, but welded them on, they have paid for themselves many times over.

Where did you purchase your TG sliders from? I can only find bolt ons but want the ones you weld on. I checked off road warehouse & 4wheelparts.com. But can't seem to find them. I have an 04 Double cab 4x4. @neegdogdig & @puddle

Got mine from Trail Gears but you can get them from any off road stores, eBay is the easiest way to go with.

Yes and many use them as that but keep in mind rock slider tend to sit flush with the cab. If yours a DC and don't offroad, I recommend looking for a factory toyota step. They sit lower and use factory mount.

The factory DC step are obsolete by now for a 20+ y/o truck. You just need to check your local craigslist, regional section, or post a WTB ad on craigslist or the BST section.

There are aftermarket options if you can't find factory secondhand.

This is the only picture I can find of mine when I had the factory step.
