OK...so I'm looking at WoodMaxx now as well. After much research back and forth, it doesn't seem like the Woodland Mills WC46 is going to much an improvement over what I already have. The power king rips through material very quickly, and has a bigger infeed opening, and a larger infeed chute.

The WoodMaxx MX-8600 seems like it would a much better choice over the woodland mills chipper. much larger infeed chute, much larger infeed opening, and much larger infeed roller too. There's not too many videos on youtube showing speed of chipping smaller 1-2" material though. I get that bigger 3-6" stuff is going to be slower, but it seems like small stuff takes some time too, unless people are just running the infeed slower for some reason.

Also, as for the mini stand-on skid steer. They're fantastic. I've got a mid 80's JLG LJ500 and I adore it. It's a little 11hp Wisconsin Robin, electric start, will lift 500+lbs, auto-level bucket, pallet forks, originally came with a trencher, post hole auger, pole saw attachment, etc... but I only have the bucket and forks. I got it for basically nothing (friend dropped it off and refused payment because his wife wanted it gone...), rebuilt the hydraulic cylinders, put new pins in it, and it's been problem free ever since. It's wildly handy. It's very, very slow, but it sure beats a shovel and wheelbarrow.

I hate say it out loud, but when we sat the nieces or nephews, I'd turn them loose in the brush on it. They loved it. Bulldozing thru the brush just made them giggle.

Something about kids riding on tractors. I remember it like yesterday going to my grandparents house and riding in the tractor trailer all over his yard. Went to a 4th of July parade with the family and the highlight for my 4yo son was the garbage truck.

It's sad to say, not many parents are gonna let the kids loose on equipment these days. I'm glad those memories are vivid.

In fairness I remember being 6-8 and trying to help till a new front garden, trying out the walk behind tiller I squeezed the throttle to hard/to fast and it took off with my holding on completely terrified and I just held on right into the side of our neighbors car.

Edit - I have to admit that memory is very vivid.

Anyone have experience with an oil filter relocation kit for a 24hp Briggs? The motor I swapped onto my zero turn last summer has the filter buried under the right side hydro lines, it's a royal pain to get to and change without getting the filter all dirty on install. I'd love to slap a relocation kit on there and move it to a more accessible location. I've seen factory kits that install a cooler at the same time, but that's a bit out of my budget.
