This will sharpen them as good as if they were new. Don't have to take it off the chainsaw, takes about 10 minutes depending on the size. The only thing it won't do is take down the guide teeth.

Had he dialed 811 before digging in my yard, he'd have known the hazards:

    Holy Moly.jpg

Posting here because my tractor and mower are pieces of my hunting arsenal. I roll down the runs, then as time allows, I check 2-3 times a day for activity.

22 LR Walther pistol. I'm at 11 confirmed this Summer. I have 14 acres but only try to keep 3-4 acres mole free. Last year by October end I had 27 kills and they just keep coming... I think the soil and climate in my area must be really good for the earthworms they eat.

I had one or two start digging by the front steps. I used a few smoke bomb sticks. They either died or decided to go somewhere else

ive had decent luck with the poison gummy worms. cut them in half and they still work. poison peanuts are effective but not good for wet lands.

Wife has 4 cats, neighbor has 4 cats... All are fixed.... Out of 8 cats there is one that's a slaughter machine... The rest will watch a mouse or shrew/digger just have right at it.

Tunnels all over the place here. I roll em flat & wait for more.

Now about that killing machine: its our smallest cat. Only about 6lbs of short hair fury.
Its also my favorite. She is just an absolute serial killer. Rabbits, squirrels, birds, frogs, toads, snakes, shrews, moles & even killed a friggin turtle. This little girl is just ferocious!

Our dogs are 130lbs, 65, 62 & 50lbs..... They do NOT cross her. She absolutely will just slap the crap right out of them if they even look at her sideways. She goes out when we get up & comes in at dark. She roams our 14acres but never leaves or runs off.

My daughter rescued her as a kitten about 5 years ago. Lets see if I got a pic on here..

I've used the spring loaded "traps" successfully at our old house. Haven't tried yet to trap any here since we've moved. Found one or two dead babies in the pool at the old house, and two so far here. At first I didn't realize what it was in the pool... o_O o_O

The Scissors type works best in most cases. Less false trips and easier to set. But if the trail runs right along the edge of a concrete slab you need to use the Impaler type. The Scissors is impossible to set in the proper orientation right up against the slab. But beware that the plastic Impaler type is junk. If you buy that type get the all-metal version. Either type you set it and wait a day at most. If no mole, you need to move it to a better location. I've trapped them as soon as a half hour after setting the trap  ... and I've had to move the Trap too many times to count. :annoyed:

No, but you'll see the ground moving up when they're burrowing. Just gotta be patient. I think 40 years of deer hunting helps.

I have seen them actually cross the driveway and even seen one run across a road when I was jogging. They can move surprisingly quick. But it's very rare to see them above ground, unless we "coax" them out with a 22LR.
