You find your local tractor tire installer and ask him to do it. Rusting wheel takes a long time, but my 45 year old B7100 is rusted and we put tubes in the front and rear wheels. It's common to load tires where it get really cold.

I put plain old winter windshield fluid in my riding mower tires, and I found some corrosion on the rims when I installed new tires last year. Edited to add - this was like 8 yrs after I added the fluid by the time I needed new tires.

I just purchased a new Kubota bx2380, and the dealer put rimguard in the tires. He said it weighs more, and won't corrode the rims. It must have something in it to prevent freezing up here in New England.

Next question... What's the best way to determine if there's ALREADY fluid in the tires? Buying used, how to tell? I guess you could park with the valve stem at the six o'clock position and open the valve a bit and see if it pee's on you???

That's probably the easiest way, lol. And hope the valve stem doesn't get stuck, don't ask how I know about that

Of course you want it to ride/drive fine. We all do.
That's why most of the tractors you look at have such a small bucket on the front & are hydraulic limited.....

many of us have "oversize" front buckets. Cause that tiny bucket takes 3 trips vs the larger bucket.

I do run the oversize bucket on mine. It's only 60" wide but it is very deep. It's a skid steer bucket.
    Many of us use these.

Like you said: if you fill that with rock or gravel? It rides just fine unless you are on really bouncy terrain. Maybe 700-1k of weight....

But take that same bucket with sand or small pea gravel? Then its a full TON. Much different handling & results.

Yesterday I threw the grapple on there & cut down a tree. Was 32" dia & the base log was about 16' long. That was all she could lift & slow was the word over to my neighbors & dropped it over the fence. There is no way that could have happened without the ballast in the tires & counterweight.

Naked the tractor only weighs about 3k...... It was a good 2200lb log.
These are the trade offs for size/weight/power. It's also why we always end up needing a bigger tractor than we thought. LMAO

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
Lack of oxygen is supposed to be the rust preventive when the tires are filled with chloride.

But there is that pesky valve stem that always allows some gas to migrate around and in.

And a leaky tire or rim seal is the death bell.!

Put the valve stem at the 12 o'clock position. If there is fluid, you will know.
If you can get the weight off the wheel, even if the valve fails to reseal, you won't loose anything but the air. Remember the wheels are not "filled" with fluid. Only partially filled, there is still air in there, and it rides on the TOP! ;-)

    eta

rinse any fluid that comes out off the stem and wheel! That stuff will corrode metal overnight. Plus , blow a bit or air back into the tire via the stem to clear out any liquid caught at the sealing surface. .

This an instance where filling the tires with nitrogen after loading with calcium chloride would actually benefit.

In the 1960's my family had a Jacobsen mower that was "da Bomb". It had a 2-cycle engine, and the blade was something they called "TurboCone". The blade system was basically a heavy shallow round cone that had 4 triangular shaped blades mounted around its circumference. Get that 2-cycle engine singing,, and that heavy TurboCone would plow through just about anything. Too bad the Feds killed off that blade design for safety concerns. As a kid cutting grass in the neighborhood I absolutely LOVED that lawn mower. https://youtu.be/EdJ9l0Z4Ze8?si=wE3zLdmibzZ6xSJx

A couple of rear window decals...
I recon I'm late to this party, most everything that needed to be said probably has been. But my .02¢ is that any heavy equipment lifting near it's capacity is going to need to be driven with care. Adding ballast to the back will help with how well it rides and lifts. Rim Guard is expensive, but pounds per dollar it's probably the best stuff on the market for ballast. As for checking if a tire has some sort of liquid ballast installed. You can start with beating on the sidewall with a hammer, you should be able to tell a difference in the sound it makes where there is liquid vs air. Second you can rotate the valve stim of the tire between 2 to 10 o'clock and open the valve to see if you get any liquid out. I wouldn't start with the valve at the bottom incase you do have valve issues. If the tires were professionally filled with Rim Guard there should be a sticker on the rim indicating that they are filled. I had my tires filled with Rim Guard and it added 500# to the weight of the tractor, bringing the tractor weight with the loader up to 4500#, and I still need some rear ballast on the 3-point to lift anywhere near capacity.

Fun story time, I spent many years driving heavy equipment in the AF. I probably have several thousand hours in these JD 544E and similar CASE/CAT 10K AT/FLs. These things could really haul ass for zero suspension equipment, top speed was almost 30 mph. But they really had a bad tendency to bounce on those big ass tires with the slightest change in the road surface. You'd be humming along full throttle and hit a little pot hole and that thing would start to bouncing, worse if you had a good load on it. It'd scare the crap out of the FNGs, and sometime the old hands too. The only thing you could do was:censored::pray: let off the throttle and hold tight to the steering wheel trying not to make any sudden moves until it slowed enough for the bouncing to stop. Those were the fun days... :oldglory:

Very nice that probably will be a great little tractor/tool in your tool box. With the box blade you'll never want to get off of it. Did you get all the attachments for it too?

Oh yeah guys remember that stubborn stump? It's finally below the surface about 6" or so. Filled in with some dirt from the hill next to it and packed down raked and grass seeded.
Before you give me a hard time over pictures: as usual I didn't get anything in the process but I will take some of the finished product when the rain stops.
