    Hello Tacoma World,
Back in July 2020, I installed a lift from Toytec. Aluma Series 2.0 coil overs, SPC UCAs, Aluma rear shocks, and OME rear springs. I've been completely happy with the setup and have had zero problems, other than a little difficulty dialing in the proper alignment after the initial installation. Until now.

Last week I started getting a grinding noise from the suspension. After two days the noise stopped and I noticed that the driver side now sits 2 inches lower than the passenger side. Sort of Taco-Lean on steroids. The ride seems normal and I can not find any visible problems after inspecting everything including springs, bushings, shocks, tire pressure, and anything else that might be causing the problem. I'm at a loss.

Can anyone offer some advice on what else to look for?

2012 DCLB Sport, above suspension mods, 110000 miles.

    Thanks in advance.

    Chris

Definitely have something serious going on but kind of impossible to diagnose without seeing it.

Can you load some pics from underneath to show us what’s going on?

Need to take wheels off and truly look at the suspension.

    sounds like a broken spring.

Thanks very much to you all who responded. After reading your posts, I concentrated on the springs and measured them. The driver side (problem) spring measures 9 1/2" tall. The passenger spring is almost 11" tall. Seems like a broken spring or some spring failure. Emailed Toytec to see if I can buy a new pair of springs. Could not find these on their site, only complete coilovers. I'm guessing it will be smart to change them both. Really appreciate the help.

Pics: the view showing top of tires is from exactly the same perspective on each side. The UCA is clearly off.

That driver side top coil looks wet did it blow a seal possibly.

Preload is set as received from the factory. (Bought the coilovers pre-assembled).
Wet look on driver coil is from some WD-40 sprayed to deal with a noise that started before the spring problem.
